100.000 Acres of Pine
Sound Design for Animated film
100.000 Acres of Pine is an animated film made by The Animation Workshop in Viborg. Meghan, the main character, is looking for her brother who recently disappeared in the woods. He left nothing behind but some weird tape recordings. All by herself Meghan enters the woods, trying to find him, but she soon discovers that the past, present and future is not as linear as it used to be.
The film premiered in February 2020, and had been on several festivals during the summer. It recently won the Ekko Shortlist Awards in the category ‘Best Animation’, and is also nominated for the ROBERT award show in 2021 in the category ‘Best Short Fiction Film’.
