Tine Riisbøll (pictured left) has designed a chair called ‘REST in beats’. Trine describes it as a resting chair with built-in loudspeakers in the head cushions. You can listen to meditation music, an e-book or your favourite music while relaxing. Her inspiration is mostly from H. J. Wegner’s Flag Halyard chain and the geometry of a dome. The chair was displayed at Milan Design Week 2018, where Daniel Jakob Freestone and I made an ambient soundtrack for the purpose.
