This project is a podcast about transnational adoption. The podcast is part of a series of 8 other podcasts with the shared topic ‘Economics’. Tænk på Adoption (Think About Adoption) gives a critical view on the economy of transnational adoption. On one hand adoption brings families together and helps children and childless families have their greatest wish fulfilled. On the other hand it shows how the huge amounts of money involved can lead to tragic trafficking cases, where women are forced to give away their children due to economical and social circumstances.

The main character of the podcast, Ida-Louise Nielsen, is adopted from South Korea, and tells us her story and gives us her view upon adoption.
